My recent stay at Roland B&B was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful surroundings and the tranquil atmosphere. The walkway through the forest provided a peaceful escape, and I even had the pleasure of spotting a wallaby from my balcony. The breakfast left in the apartment was delicious and satisfying, giving me a great start to my day. I also appreciated the cold weather heating downstairs and the comfort of the electric blankets on the cozy beds. The accommodation was well-equipped and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as Cradle Mountain and the sights around Moles Creek and Deloraine. I can imagine that the cottage would be an ideal choice for families or larger groups, as it was spacious and had amenities like a dishwasher and shared laundry facilities. The cleanliness of the house, fresh bedding, and comfortable beds were all standout features that made my stay even more enjoyable. Finally, I must mention the exceptional customer service provided by Donna at Roland B&B. When I left an item behind, she promptly mailed it back to me without accepting any reimbursement for postage. It was a kind gesture that truly made a lasting impression. I had a wonderful experience at Roland B&B and highly recommend it to others looking for a charming and memorable getaway.
While the accommodations at Roland B&B were fantastic, I did find a few minor drawbacks. Nearest amenities, such as food and ingredients, were a 10-minute drive away in Sheffield, making last-minute runs somewhat inconvenient.

During Easter, we stayed at a lovely property nearby Sheffield. The location was excellent, nestled in peaceful and green surroundings. It was the perfect escape from the hustle-bustle of the city. The kitchen was stocked thoughtfully with a good selection of breakfast options, which included cereal for the kids. the property had a laundry facility that was of great help.
Upon arrival, we received an unwelcoming reception. The staff did not seem sure about the unit we had booked.

Great cabin! Super cozy and perfect for a Christmas getaway. Loved that the cabin was equipped with strong heating and good wifi, perfect for those cold nights in. the location was also great, just a short drive away from town and with an amazing view of the surroundings. We also appreciated that the kitchen was well-stocked, it made cooking our Christmas meals so much easier.
The photos online did not do this lovely cabin justice. We were a bit surprised by the look of the place upon arrival.
